FIELD: railway.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to means and methods of reducing the load on the railway track and car wheels when transporting heavy and super-heavy loads, through magnetic forces. The device contains a magnetic module attached to a frame attached to the car and ensuring that the magnetic module is placed near the car no higher than the level of the wheels, wherein the magnetic module is attached to the frame to allow the ferromagnetic guide to be positioned above the magnetic module when attaching the frame to the car. The steps of the method will include providing a force of attraction of the permanent magnet to the ferromagnetic guide less than the gravity of the empty car, determining the weight of the cargo loaded into the car, setting the force of attraction of the electromagnet to the ferromagnetic guide less than the gravity created by the cargo in the car and determined based on the weight of the cargo.
EFFECT: reduction in the load on the wheels of a railway car is achieved.
