SUBSTANCE: invention relates to personal or portable communication devices. Electronic device may include a flexible display and at least one processor which is configured to identify the folding angle of the electronic device, identify the displacement of the printed layer of the flexible display according to the identified folding angle, generating a section of virtual dead space, substantially adjacent to a section of the boundary of the printed layer based on the identified displacement, and outputting at least a portion of the generated section of the virtual dead space in a given colour on the flexible display.
EFFECT: invention provides elimination of discomfort for the eyes of the user when the layers of the flexible display are displaced.
