SUBSTANCE: technical result is achieved by a folding electronic device with a flexible display, comprising: a first housing; second housing; a hinge device which connects the first housing and the second housing with possibility of movement relative to each other with respect to the folding axis, and includes: a hinge housing having a receiving portion; and a hinge module disposed in the receiving portion and including at least one rotary mechanism connecting the first housing and the second housing; and a flexible display arranged so as to be supported by at least a portion of the first housing, the second housing and the hinge device, wherein at least one rotary mechanism is arranged so as to allow at least part of its contact with the hinge housing in a folded state and be spaced apart from the hinge housing by a predetermined distance in the unfolded state.
EFFECT: preventing breakage of the flexible display supported by two housings of the electronic device.
