FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for removal of surface water from closed drainless depressions (padings) and drainage of waterlogged and swampy soils. According to the invention, in the dry season, one or more trenches 3 are torn off from lowest point 4 of closed depression 2 to natural depressions of the area (gullies, ravines, hollows) or artificial drainage-discharge channels 5. Perforated drainpipe 6, wound with a thin-wall filter, is laid with a slope from the central part of the closed depression to open or closed drainage-discharge channels 5 or to natural depressions of the area. Part of trench 7 in depression is filled with filtering material in two layers. Lower part of the trench to height of 0.5 m from the soil surface is backfilled with gravel or coarse sand 8 along the entire length of the trench, and the upper part of the trench from depth of 0.5 m to the surface of the earth is backfilled along the length of the trench in turns and intermittently with sand 9 and then dug from the trench with soil 10 with a calculated distance of the length of the trench backfilling with sand and soil of 10 m each. Depth of drainpipe 6 in the drainage head (in the lowest point of the closed depression) must be lower than the soil freezing depth for the given territory and not be squeezed by the equipment passing along the surface of the field.
EFFECT: providing removal of surface water from field plots with closed drainless depressions, and drainage of flooded and waterlogged heavy soils with low filtration capacity or with close occurrence of ground water.
