FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: glenoid component of a reverse endoprosthesis of a shoulder joint consists of platform containing 2 peripherally located through holes with a thread for installation of locking screws in a neck of a scapula, and a cylinder, through which a central axial through hole for a guide pin passes. On the surface of the platform facing the articular process of the scapula, there are protrusions for immersion into the bone tissue of the articular process of the scapula with height of 2 to 10 mm in amount of up to 40 units.
EFFECT: invention provides achieving stable fixation of the glenoid component in the bone and reducing the risk of the endoprosthesis component migration, prolonging the total service life of the endoprosthesis.
