FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: system of longitudinally and transversely inclined beds for plant growing has the same angle of inclination to the south and configuration, which includes two or more longitudinally inclined beds increasing from the south to the north, oriented along the length from the south to the north, and adjoining to them at right angle from the south side is a cross-inclined bed oriented along the length from the east to the west. Between the longitudinally inclined beds there are passages. Height of the wall of the transversely inclined bed and the height of the walls of the longitudinally inclined beds in the place of abutment are equal. Walls of the beds are reinforced with boards. To the longitudinally inclined beds on the north side there is another transversely inclined bed, having a height equal to the height of the walls of the longitudinally inclined beds in the place of adjoining. Longitudinally inclined beds are divided across their length by a through central passage with formation of rows in number of two and more, consisting of two successively arranged longitudinally inclined beds. Southern wall of each of the longitudinally inclined beds adjacent to the transversely inclined bed located on the northern side of the system has a height, less than the height of the north wall of each of the longitudinally inclined beds adjacent to the transversely inclined bed located on the south side of the system, calculated in accordance with the mathematical formula depending on the angle of inclination of the sun's rays, at which the shading of the upper surface of the longitudinally inclined bed adjacent to the northern transversely inclined bed is excluded, longitudinally inclined bed, located with it in the same row to the south through the central passage and adjacent to the southern cross-inclined bed.
EFFECT: reducing the height of the system of beds in its northern part, leading to a decrease in the volume of excavation during the formation of beds and an increase in the convenience of their maintenance, provision of sufficient level of solar insolation of beds, increase of useful area occupied by beds for plant growing, improvement of access to beds in the central part of bed system.
