FIELD: plant growing.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in growing plants. System of inclined beds for growing plants contains beds having a soil inclination angle of up to 40 degrees to the south, between beds there are horizontal passages, beds and passages have common vertical walls separating them, reinforced by a fence, wherein the height of the northern vertical wall of the bed is calculated by the formula: Hi=hi+tgα×Bi, where i is the number of the bed from the south, Hi is the height of the northern wall of the bed, hi is the height of the southern wall of the bed, Bi is the width of the bed, α – selected angle of inclination of soil beds to sun. Height hi of the southern side wall of each more northern bed of the system is less than the height Hi-1 of the northern wall of the more southern bed, and is calculated in accordance with a mathematical formula depending on the value of the angle of inclination of the sun's rays, with the exclusion of shading of both the upper and the southern side surfaces of the beds for a given depth: hi=Hi-1-Wp×tgβ1+z, where hi is the height of the southern wall of the bed, Hi-1 is the height of the northern wall of the more southern bed, Wp is the selected width of the passages for calculating the geometry of the system, β1 is the angle of inclination of the rays of the sun, according to which the geometry of the system of inclined beds, taken by the base, is determined, z is the specified depth to which the shading of the southern side surface of any bed of the system is excluded. Beds have a cross-section of the upper surface, made in the form of double-sided "teeth" in the number of one or more on one bed, located on the base, located on the section, which connects in transverse direction different-height walls of beds with height Hi and hi in their upper points. Front side of the double-sided "tooth" facing the sun is at an angle to the base of this "tooth", which additionally increases the angle of inclination of the bed by the required value to the horizon. Back side of the double-sided "tooth" is at an angle to the horizon, having a selective value determined by the angle of inclination of the sun's rays to the horizon. Value of the angle of soil inclination of the front side of the double-sided "tooth" to the line of the angle of inclination of sun rays when preparing the beds for planting, sowing operations is close to 90°. Fence of the beds is made of an energy-intensive material which accumulates heat during the day and releases it to the soil at night.

EFFECT: method enables to create an energy-efficient system of beds for plant growing, which enables to optimize the use of solar energy, providing the possibility of increasing the level of insolation of beds and more efficient use of solar energy to obtain an earlier and plenteous harvest while maintaining convenience of maintenance of beds, reducing material and labour costs for their formation.
