AMPHIBIOUS RESCUE BOAT Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC B63C9/02 B60F5/00 B62D31/02

Abstract RU 2817306 C1

FIELD: shipbuilding.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to shipbuilding, particularly to amphibious lifeboats for personnel (crew) evacuation and rescue, as well as towing collective rescue equipment of offshore oil and gas structures and vessels in the Arctic and other freezing seas. Amphibious rescue boat has hull to accommodate rescued personnel, propulsion system with rotor-screw propellers and power plant installed onboard. Power plant is made in the form of a gas turbine power plant, which includes a gas turbine engine, which is mechanically connected to an air supply and exhaust gas removal system, which provides protection against water ingress into the system using an air supply flapper. One inlet of flapper is connected to external atmosphere, and the outlet is connected to the outlet of the air cleaner, which is connected to the flapper of the recirculation circuit, the inlet of which is connected to the exhaust receiver, the outlet of which is connected to the inlet of the flapper of the gas exhaust. Outlet of the gas exhaust flapper is connected to the external atmosphere, at that, at critical inclinations of the boat, automatic actuation of the flappers shutting off the outlet to the external atmosphere is provided, and ensuring the run-out of the gas turbine engine.

EFFECT: providing the required power-to-weight ratio of the amphibious lifeboat with improved weight and size characteristics and facilitating the independent exit of the boat from the water onto the ice.
