FIELD: cosmonautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to solar power engineering, in particular to solar power systems intended for generation of electric power in outer space. Solar photovoltaic module with radiation concentrator includes a panel of Fresnel lenses and a flat heat release base, connected by two pairs of telescopic posts inclined to the flat base, installed on opposite ends of the flat base. Each telescopic post comprises a tube plugged on one end and a rod coaxial with the tube, spring-loaded in the tube by a cylindrical compression spring and made with possibility of reciprocal movement along the tube. Ends of rods located in tubes are equipped with pins entering longitudinal slots of tubes. Ends of rods located outside the tubes are fixed in pairs at the centres of opposite ends of the flat base by means of the first cylindrical hinges. To the plugged ends of the tubes of the telescopic posts rollers are attached by means of the second cylindrical hinges, resting against upper ends of rectangular resilient side walls attached to opposite ends of flat base.
EFFECT: module provides its folding on Earth in transport condition during module delivery from Earth to space and opening of module in working condition on space orbit and at the same time has increased efficiency factor.
