FIELD: chemical industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing highly purified dihydroquercetin (DHQ) from Siberian larch resin. Method of producing highly purified dihydroquercetin (DHQ), which consists in the fact that Siberian larch resin is treated with petroleum ether 40/70 in ratio of 1 g of raw material per 20 ml of extractant, for one hour at 20 °C, then the suspension is filtered, precipitate is dissolved in methyl-tert-butyl ether (MTBE), passed through a column filled with celite, solution is concentrated under vacuum and recrystallised from methyl-tert-butyl ether (MTBE) to obtain highly pure dihydroquercetin (DHQ).

EFFECT: method described above reduces the duration of the technological process and the cost of equipment for processing the raw material due to use of Siberian larch resin as initial raw material, as well as obtaining highly purified DHQ with purity of 99,6% and raw material output of 54%.
