FIELD: vehicles.
SUBSTANCE: device for protecting a car from an explosive object comprises two protective elements and a set of brackets for attachment of device to car canopy framework. Protective elements are made in the form of a rigid rectangular tubular framework, in which a web from a resilient elastic mesh is placed. Frameworks are made as assembled of two U-shaped halves, which are connected to each other by means of adjusting double-sided screws, which allow changing the width of the protective element. Staples-connectors are put on the framework with a calculated pitch. Edges of the web along the perimeter are equipped with rings, by means of which it is attached to the staples-connectors with helical cylindrical springs. Set of brackets comprises middle and extreme brackets. Middle brackets are screw lifters, the bases of which are attached to the centres of the canopy framework arches. Extreme brackets are attached to arches of canopy framework at points of conjugation with posts.
EFFECT: ensuring protection of people and cargoes placed on the vehicle from explosive objects dropped by the enemy from copters.
