FIELD: military equipment.

SUBSTANCE: device for protecting a lorry from an attack by an unmanned aerial vehicle. Protection is provided by throwing grenades and other explosive devices away from the vehicle. The basis of the device is a standard awning placed on the frame. An additional shaped sheet is attached to the standard awning along the border of the front sheet. It covers the space between the on-board platform and the cabin and is attached on hinges to additional hooks. The transverse beams of the frame are made prefabricated with two slopes at the design angle. The longitudinal beams are made in the form of pipes, which are attached to the first and the last transverse beams of the frame by the cheeks of the supporting devices. The axes of the supporting devices are preliminarily inserted into the ends of the longitudinal beams with bearings pressed into them. Internal loops are attached to the inner surface of the side panels with a given pitch, and the lower coils of springs of tension devices in the form of lanyards are attached to the upper frame struts with the same pitch. The upper split rings of the lanyards are placed on the inner loops. By rotating the lanyard bodies, the upper panel of the awning lying on the longitudinal beams of the frame, due to the stretching of the springs, is given such tensile forces to ensure the desired rebound.

EFFECT: protection of personnel transported on an on-board platform is achieved.
