METHOD OF MAKING TOOTHED ADHESIVE JOINTS OF WOODEN STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC B27F1/00 

FIELD: timber industry; woodworking industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of toothed adhesive joints of wooden structural elements. Separate milling of tenons is performed by length: their main part with length L₁ of the total length of the tenon in the finished adhesive joint L with a safe value of dullness of its vertex b₁ of not less than 2 mm, to ensure minimum wear of the cutting edge b₁ during milling, as well as the upper part of the tenon, milled with minimum blunting b₂ of not more than 0.2 mm and minimum length of not more than 10 mm. At the same time, to ensure milling of only the upper part of the tenon with length of 10 mm in the remaining inclined surfaces of the cutter teeth at distance of 12 mm from the top of the tenon, recesses are made at value of 1 mm in order to exclude the milling of a part by the teeth in the zone of the main part of the tenon. Two sets of cutters are used: one for milling the main part of the tenon, and the other one—for the upper part, each of them is milled successively, or one set of cutters with combined pairs of teeth in single cutter is used, alternately milling parts of tenons with teeth with values of blunting b₁ and b₂.

EFFECT: higher reliability of high grade durability toothed adhesive joints used for supporting structure wooden elements manufacturing.
