BIOCATALYST-BASED CO STRIPPING TECHNIQUES AND SIMILAR SYSTEMS Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC B01D53/14 B01D53/62 B01D53/73 B01D53/74 F23J15/00

Abstract RU 2818188 C2

FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to the field of CO2 trapping based on biocatalysts. Described is a method of stripping CO2 for stripping CO2 from a biocatalyst-containing absorbing solution with high content of CO2 to obtain a biocatalyst-containing absorbing solution with low content of CO2 and gas with high content of CO2, including: generating a stripping gas from a portion of said biocatalyst-containing absorbent solution with low content of CO2 in a stripping gas production unit which is a falling film evaporator, and bringing the biocatalyst-containing absorbent solution with high CO2 content into contact with a stripping gas in the gas-liquid contactor to produce an absorbent solution with low CO2 content, and a gas with high CO2 content. Described is a method of stripping CO2 for stripping CO2 from a biocatalyst-containing absorbing solution with high content of CO2 to obtain a biocatalyst-containing absorbing solution with low content of CO2 and gas with high content of CO2, including: generation of stripping gas from biocatalyst-containing absorbing solution containing high content of CO2, and bringing the biocatalyst-containing absorbent solution with high CO2 content into contact with the stripping gas in the gas-liquid contactor, which is a falling film evaporator, to obtain an absorbent solution with low content of CO2, and gas with high content of CO2. Also described is a method for capturing CO2 based on a biocatalyst, comprising: bringing CO2-containing gas into contact with an biocatalyst-containing absorbent solution to obtain a biocatalyst-containing absorbent solution with high content of CO2, use of the CO2 stripping method for desorption of CO2 from a biocatalyst-containing absorbent solution with high content of CO2, thus obtaining an absorbent solution with low content of CO2 and gas with high content of CO2. Disclosed is the use of a falling film evaporator for generating a stripping gas for stripping CO2 from a biocatalyst-containing absorbent solution with high CO2 content and obtaining a biocatalyst-containing absorbent solution with low content of CO2.

EFFECT: reduced operating costs, increased stability and service life of the biocatalyst used in the process of capturing CO2.
