FIELD: processing of cement, clay and stone.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of high-alumina cement by sintering and can be used for production of unshaped refractory concrete. Method of producing high-alumina cement for unshaped refractory concrete involves preparing a fine mixture of metallurgical alumina, a lime component and an additive, moistening with water and briquetting, burning and cooling of clinker, its crushing and grinding. At that, to crude mixture 0.2–0.5% of calcium fluoride of its weight is added as an additive, and the clinker is cooled at rate of 40–80 °C/h.
EFFECT: obtaining high-alumina cement with high rate of hardening and strength.
