FIELD: ship propulsors.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in designing small underwater robotic facilities. Underwater vehicle with fin propeller consists of body, power plant, control mechanisms and fin propeller, which consists of a sequence of closed surfaces, with possibility of movement in chain coupling equipped with hinges equipped with torsion springs and dampers. Coupling is fixed by hinges, which are located inside closed surfaces.
EFFECT: reduced energy consumption for movement of underwater vehicle with fin propeller due to reduced probability of detachable phenomena by minimization of distances between closed surfaces.
