FIELD: mining industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of reinforcing rock massifs and can be used in reinforcing the surface of elements of buildings and structures. Method includes placement of steel anchor elements with heads in rock. At least two rod steel anchor elements are arranged perpendicular to direction of crack opening on both sides of it. Anchor elements are tightened by rigidly elastic ties, thus forming a cellular structure with an arbitrary shape of cells. One end of each of the ties is hinged to the head, and the other end is coupled end-to-end by a tie nut-coupling with the neighboring tie. On the free ends of the ties there are threaded sections provided on one tie with a left thread, and on the opposite tie—right-hand thread. Nut-coupling is made at one end with left-hand thread, and at the other end—with right-hand thread.
EFFECT: termination of intensive growth of fracture due to reduction of potential energy of its opening and increase of modulus of elasticity of rock surface near fracture.
