FIELD: measurement technology; machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of measuring the angle of rotation of the section at bending of rods. Method consists in the fact that for measurement of this angle auxiliary parts of elongated shape made of wood are attached to the rod. Parts are elastically pressed to the rod by means of an elastic band. Piece of plasticine is attached to one piece of elongated shape; a pointer indicator is attached to this plasticine. Sheet of graph paper is fixed on the horizontal surface of the table under the rod. Rod is bent. Projections of end parts of the pointer indicator are applied on this sheet of paper; these projections are obtained by projection of the corresponding points along the normal to the surface of the table. Straight line is drawn through these points of projections. Angle is measured between this straight line and straight line, which characterizes initial position of pointer indicator or its position at previous measurements.

EFFECT: enabling measurement of the angle of rotation of the rod cross-section in the area remote from the end part of the rod, at the same time providing the possibility of quickly rearranging the parts to another cross-section of the rod without damaging the rod.
