FIELD: computer engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to automated control systems, and can be used to implement a process of assessing and providing security of computer networks from computer attacks. Technical result is achieved due to addition of device: a module for checking updates and versions of software, used protection means, a module for collecting information on current information security threats, a modem that provides a connection to Internet resources, a unit for searching and supplementing new updates, a unit for checking the legitimacy and security of updates and a unit for distributing and installing updates.
EFFECT: increased security of a computer network by taking into account the dynamics of change in information security threats, dynamic detection of information security vulnerabilities of a computer network and reducing the time interval for updating protection against computer attacks.
