SUBSTANCE: invention relates to computer engineering for information security. Technical result is achieved by taking into account potentially possible techniques for implementing computer attacks, exploiting vulnerabilities of several software tools installed on protected information resource, and detecting inter-process connections between software tools installed on one information resource, which are taken into account as potentially possible transitions between known vulnerabilities of software tools, to determine potentially implemented techniques of computer attacks on an information resource.
EFFECT: high accuracy of evaluating security of an information resource.
