FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: device for compression of blood vessels for an extremity, comprises a hollow main part, a compression area, a compression control mechanism for adjusting the compression applied by the device and a strap for securing the device on the limb and performing compression in relation to it. Hollow main part contains an internal, in fact, annular surface and a longitudinal base, which limit a generally tubular space passing in the longitudinal direction. Said base can be accessed by a generally tubular space. Compression area is located on the outer surface of the base. Strap is attached to the main part in the base and is made with possibility of detachable attachment to the compression control mechanism and is made with possibility of adjustment by means of it without blocking of tubular space. Compression control mechanism is located on the main part distal to the compression area and the base and opposite them. Device additionally comprises a support for stabilizing the device on an extremity. Support is located adjacent to base and passes in longitudinal direction parallel to it.
EFFECT: invention enables reliable attachment of the device in a certain position on the extremity with specific and accurate compression of the blood vessel and with accurate control of this compression without detriment to simplicity of its design or ergonomic design.
