SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport for transportation of rock mass from open pit to dressing plant, namely to dump trucks. Cargo vehicle with bottom protection for transportation of lumpy material comprises rotary body, on bottom (4) of which tires (6) are laid flat. On head drum (2), flexible rubberized band (3) is fixed by one end, the opposite end is fixed on tensioning tail drum (5). Band is fixed on the drums with the possibility of alternate winding on them into rolls. Axes of rollers are installed on side surfaces of tires. Rubberized band is laid on the rollers. Cylinders of rollers are located in holes for rims.

EFFECT: invention provides protection of dump truck body bottom from coarse material of rock mass, reduction of specific dynamic loads on the bottom, on metal structure, absorption of impacts of falling pieces of rock mass materials.
