SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and apparatus for regenerating cellulose solvent in a method of producing moulded cellulose articles. Proposed method is implemented in several stages. First, solid moulded cellulose articles are continuously or intermittently produced, comprising obtaining a cellulose solution from dissolved cellulose and a cellulose solvent, moulding the cellulose solution into the desired geometric shape, hardening the moulded cellulose solution into the moulded cellulose article in a coagulation liquid, releasing or extracting a solvent from a moulded cellulose article using a non-solvent. Said process involves accumulation of moulded articles wastes. At the second stage, the moulded articles wastes are collected, which are then subjected to grinding, besides, the wastes can contain a solvent or a non-solvent. At the end of the process, the solvent is extracted from the crushed wastes of the moulded articles. Solid solvent-containing cellulose wastes, which are accumulated before moulding and during moulding, are mixed and ground together, or the solvent from the coagulation liquid from the first step and the extracted solvent from the last moulding step are concentrated together.

EFFECT: proposed in the invention approach enables to efficiently extract the solvent used in the moulding process.
