FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electric generators of alternating current. Electric generator comprises stator consisting of several electric coils of rectangular shape, each of which is wound on holder from electrically insulating material. Each holder is installed on peripheral parts of two end shields - side covers of electric generator, in bearings of which there is a rotor shaft, with formation of radial air channels between adjacent coils and with possibility to adjust value of air gap between conductors of generator coils and permanent magnets of rotor by means of installation of gaskets. Rotor is made of metal and contains protruding permanent magnets at the rate of two permanent magnets per each electric coil. Permanent magnets are located on the rotor with alternation through one with serial change of polarity.
EFFECT: efficient cooling of generator windings and possibility to adjust air gap between conductors of generator coils and permanent magnets of rotor.
