FIELD: machine building; electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and machine building, particularly to stators of alternating current machines. Stator of the electric motor contains a magnetic conductor in the form of a loop with teeth, between which windings connected to an alternating current source are wound around the magnetic conductor. Magnetic conductor has an even number of teeth, and windings located on opposite sides relative to each tooth are connected in opposition to possibility of creating differently directed magnetic flows. Magnetic conductor can have the shape of rectangle, circle, polygon, ellipse. Magnet core teeth can be directed inward or outward of the circuit. Windings can be connected series opposition. Windings can be connected parallel opposition.
