SUBSTANCE: invention relates to bird scaring devices. Device for ensuring ornithological safety of high-speed vessel on compressed air flow, characterized by the fact that on the outer surface of the vessel along the contour of the hull, inside which the coaxial impeller is placed, a mesh screen in the form of an oval cross-section elongated in the longitudinal section is fixed, by means of mechanical fastener, above the mesh screen fastening frame is fixed in the form of annular rim by means of mechanical fastener, to the frame there is a top hollow annular polyethylene tube with radial holes on the side of the tube wall, the holes of which are directed towards the elongation above the surface of the mesh screen, without touching its surface in the longitudinal section of the mesh screen, the annular hollow polyethylene tube contains nozzles of the injected medium in the form of a housing of optical heads, including a laser radiation source, wherein in the optical head housing there is a lens for focusing laser radiation, a laser radiation separation device and a laser beam convergence device, and the laser radiation separation device is made in the form of a copper prism, having reflecting surfaces, which are installed so that they provide separation of the input laser radiation from the laser into two oppositely directed laser beams, and the convergence device contains two mirrors, which direct oppositely directed laser beams into the compressed air outlet zone from the copper prism towards the ejected hole of the optical head.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase efficiency of birds scaring due to use of full spectrum of sensitivity of visual apparatus of birds and body heat, and also to increase reliability of functioning of protective device and operational manufacturability, to increase service life of coaxial impellers for vessels with reduced hydraulic resistance to flow of sucked air.
