FIELD: fishing and fish farming.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fish farming and can be used for treating parasitic diseases of fish. Method consists in the fact that fish is treated in therapeutic baths with a preparation based on praziquantel. Preparation used is a preparation containing praziquantel, trilon B, ethyl cellosolve and polyethylene glycol – 400 with the following ratio of ingredients, mg/ml: praziquantel – 45.0–55.0, trilon B – 0.2–0.4, ethyl cellosolve – 450.0–550.0, polyethylene glycol – 400 – up to 1 ml. Preparation is introduced into therapeutic baths in amount of 0.05 to 0.4 ml/l of water, and the time of fish treatment is 0.5 to 24.0 hours.

EFFECT: method is easy to use, has high efficiency against a wide range of parasitic disease agents in a wide range of fish species.
