FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of isolating bacteria from soil of coal dumps for biological reclamation, which involves adding 1 g of soil to a test tube with 5 ml of sterile distilled water, incubation at 28±2 °C and mixing at rate of 110 rpm for 12 hours in aerobic conditions, then the recovered material is inoculated on a medium of a given composition, cultivated at 28±2 °C and stirring at rate of 110 rpm for 18–24 hours under aerobic conditions, subcultured by depletion streak on meat-peptone agar.
EFFECT: invention provides a wider range of methods for isolating bacteria from soil of coal dumps, which are resistant to heavy metals and have growth-stimulating activity due to ability to produce indole-3-acetic acid and siderophores, ability to fix nitrogen and solubilisation of potassium, zinc, phosphorus.
