FIELD: chemistry; non-ferrous metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for processing of alkaline aluminosilicate raw material by sintering for production of alumina and soda products, for example, soda, potash, potassium sulphate. Method involves preparation of a charge consisting of nepheline ore, limestone, recycled soda-alkaline solution and a reducing agent, sintering of charge using coal as process fuel, leaching of sinter, wherein content of reducing agent in dry mixture is provided from 0.8 to 1.5 wt.%, wherein the recycled soda-alkaline solution is added during the charge preparation in amount of 5.5–6.5 wt.% R2O of the charge weight in terms of dry substance, and the charge sintering is carried out at temperature of 1,245–1,255 °C.
EFFECT: increased specific output of soda products per ton of processed ore and reduced specific fuel consumption.
