FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in chemical industry for production of alumina and soda products. Processing of nepheline ores and concentrates involves preparation of nepheline-limestone-soda mixture with introduction of alumina-containing additive into it, sintering and leaching of prepared charge with subsequent production of alumina and accompanying products. Alumina-containing additive used is ferrotitanium production slag ground to fineness of not less than 100 % of class - 20 mcm in amount of 0.1–0.4 % of the weight of nepheline ore. Slag of ferrotitanium production contains minerals of analcime, montryllonite and herzenite, and content of aluminium in slag from 56 to 70 wt. %.

EFFECT: disclosed invention reduces losses of alumina with nepheline slurry, high output of soda products during complex processing of nepheline ores and recovery of valuable components from slag of ferrotitanium production.
