FIELD: radar.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of passive coherent location and can be used in passive coherent location radars (PCR), intended for detection and evaluation of coordinates of air, surface and ground objects, which do not contain active sources of radio emission, based on signals of single-frequency networks scattered by these objects, for example, digital terrestrial television (DTTV) signals. To implement the disclosed method, the PCR comprises an N-element digital antenna array for receiving direct and scattered by objects radio signals. Principle of detecting and measuring coordinates of PCR objects is based on combined processing of a radio signal reflected by an object, received in a detection channel, and a reference signal formed on the basis of a received direct radio signal emitted by a transmitter. Digital processing device calculates the mutual uncertainty function (MUF) of the detection channel signal and the reference signal (RS), by analysing which objects are detected. Quality of radar detection of objects is mainly determined by quality of RS formation. Present invention discloses a method of generating RS, which minimizes the effect of external interference signals on generating RS at acceptable computational costs.
EFFECT: high quality of radar detection of objects, achieved with minimum PCR computing resources, namely: reduced probability of false alarms and increasing the probability of correct detection of objects in the PCR due to minimization of the power of the received interfering signals in the RS channel.
