SUBSTANCE: disclosed method of processing information based on a method for composite optimum filtration of a weak signal of a space radar system relates to radio engineering. In the first version of the disclosed method, a reference signal used for the convolution process in an optimum filter includes an additive which compensates for Doppler distortion of the frequency of the space radio link, wherein the compensating additive is a nonlinear function of time. The second version of the disclosed method involves filtering an input signal with noise in a matched filter with coherent signal accumulation with subsequent conversion in a detector with non-coherent additive accumulation of correlation responses, wherein during the process of matched filtering with coherent signal accumulation, a time-nonlinear frequency additive which compensates for frequency distortion of the signal is introduced; the output correlation response of the matched filter is subjected to nonlinear conversion of the nonlinear weighting type with limitation; the signal after nonlinear weighting is converted through synchronous detection with non-coherent multiplicative accumulation of correlation responses.
EFFECT: interference suppression when detecting weak signals.
