SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of graphene modified with boron atoms. Disclosed is a method of preparing graphene modified with boron atoms by loading a weighed portion of graphene into an autoclave, where the weighed portion is poured with a solution of phenyl-boric acid in mixture of 80 vol.% acetone and 20 vol.% ethyl alcohol, after which the reactor is compacted and heated to temperature of 600–700 °C, the sample is held at this temperature and pressure of 5 atm for 1–2 hours, after cooling the reactor to room temperature, the obtained graphene modified with boron in amount of 2–4.2 wt.% and containing 3–6 carbon layers is unloaded.

EFFECT: realizing the purpose, namely obtaining graphene modified with boron in amount of 2 to 4,2 wt.% and containing 3–6 carbon layers.
