SUBSTANCE: method involves using a fullerene-containing product which is an aqueous colloidal solution of C60 fullerene or an N-substituted amino acid derivative thereof. Application is pre-sowing treatment of seeds with said solution, taken in amount, providing dosage of fullerene C60 or its N-substituted amino acid derivative of 10−8–10−10 mol per kilogram of seeds.

EFFECT: method provides higher yield of barley in natural field conditions of cultivation and expansion of the range of agents for pre-sowing treatment of barley seeds to increase yield.
