FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analytical chemistry. Disclosed is a recoverable indicator of volatile corrosion inhibitors containing amines, which consists of fast or very fast filtration laboratory filter paper for quantitative analysis with ash weight fraction of up to 0.03%, filtering capacity of not more than 26 s and bursting resistance in wet state of not less than 5 kPa, pre-cured for at least 5 minutes at temperature of 120–150 °C, then impregnated with a time gap of not more than 30 with an indicator solution, which is preliminary prepared by dissolving under normal conditions 0.1 g 3',3'-dibromothymol sulphophthalein for analysis in 90 cm³ of chemically pure dimethyl sulphoxide and bringing the volume of solution to 100 cm³ with distilled water and dried at temperature of 70–150 °C for 2–7 minutes.

EFFECT: invention provides high-quality organoleptic control by visual organs, at least 35 registration-regeneration cycles, resistance to repeated frosts and heating without loss of properties.
