FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: coupler for coupler of implement, made with possibility of installation on agricultural vehicle, comprises first frame passing in transverse direction, substantially perpendicular to the direction of movement of the coupling device, wherein said directions determine the horizontal plane. For attachment of first frame to agricultural vehicle, locking device is provided, the latter comprises, at least, two coupling levers extending in the direction of displacement of the coupling device and, preferably, a retaining lever. Levers are made with possibility of connection of the first frame with agricultural vehicle. Fixing device is additionally equipped with actuators. Each of the levers has at its end, proximal to the first frame, first rotary connection with first frame, providing rotation of said lever relative to first frame around vertical axis, as well as a second rotary connection with the agricultural vehicle at its end, distal to the first frame, providing rotation of said lever relative to agricultural vehicle around vertical axis. Four rotary joints together form a quadrangle, which can be deformed under the action of actuators. Coupling device additionally contains a system for attachment of an agricultural implement to the first frame, containing two gripping hooks passing substantially in the direction of coupling movement. Each of the gripping hooks is provided with a first end, called proximal to the first frame, made with possibility of free rotation relative to said frame around a vertical axis, and a second end located distal to the first frame, free and configured to be connected to the tool. Free second ends define the direction after connection with the tool. Connection system further comprises means located between said proximal first ends of the gripping hooks and the first frame so as to provide rotation of the direction defined by the distal second ends around the vertical axis. Method of actuating a coupler for a tool mounted on an agricultural vehicle moving in a direction, comprising a step, on which when one of actuating means of coupling levers controls displacement of coupling device, thereby providing rotation of first frame relative to transverse direction at angle a, means located between the proximal first ends of the gripping hooks and the first frame are actuated, in order to provide rotation of the direction determined by the connection of the distal second ends and the tool through an angle of -a around the vertical axis so that the said direction coincides with the transverse direction.
EFFECT: enabling the coupling movement sideways while maintaining the coupling flexibility, which provides the coupling self-leveling and at the same time reducing the weight and displacement of the device.
