SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. Method of controlling weeds in crops of Amaranthus paniculatus is characterized by the fact that it involves the use of herbicides and growth regulators, wherein the working solution of the herbicide preparations and the growth regulator is prepared at rate of 200 l/ha, when making a tank mixture, herbicides based on clopyralid 750 g/kg, haloxyfop-P-methyl 80 g/l and clethodim 130 g/l are added to the working solution, and as a growth regulator, 0.01% solution of triterpenic acids is added, followed by spraying amaranth in phase of 3-4 true leaves with the obtained tank mixture.
EFFECT: invention allows to increase grain yield and increase squalene yield.
