FIELD: control systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems for automatic control of electromechanical objects, in particular objects with variable speed parameters. Method of adaptive control of actuator, according to which the actuator control signal is generated in proportion to the mismatch between the specified and measured values of the controlled parameter, when the absolute value is exceeded by the mismatch of the pre-selected threshold, the rate of change of the set value of the controlled parameter and its ratio to the difference between the set and measured values of the controlled parameter are determined, if the ratio is positive, it is compared with a preselected value, the obtained difference is integrated and in proportion to the result, the gain in the actuator control signal generation circuit is changed, and if the ratio is negative, the gain is reduced with a pre-selected rate.
EFFECT: improving reliability of the control system by eliminating the effect of wide spread of the speed characteristic of the actuator on the dynamic characteristics of the system.
