FIELD: beekeeping.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to beekeeping and can be used to melt beeswax. Steam electric wax melter contains housing with cover, in upper part of which there is a basket with mesh bottom for loading of honeycomb frames or recyclable materials. Under the basket there is a tray for collection of melted wax. Housing has a filler pipe. Electric heater is mounted in the space under the tray directly at the bottom of the housing. Housing is connected to the neutral wire of the electric network and is grounded. Tray bottom has a condensate drain hole closed with a plug. Wax melter is equipped with a control device, the first and second inputs of which are connected to zero and phase wires of the electric network, respectively, between the third and fourth inputs there is a winding of an electromagnetic valve installed on the filler pipe. Sealant is laid between the housing and the cover, the cover is pressed to the seal by the weight of the weight fixed on it. On the housing there installed are sensors of upper and lower water levels, closing contacts of which are connected by the first outputs to the first input, and by the second outputs to the sixth and seventh inputs of the control device respectively. Lower level sensor is located directly above the electric heater, and the upper level sensor is located at a height at which the volume of water required for wax melting from a single portion of the raw material loaded into the basket is provided. Space in the upper part of the housing is connected to the environment by means of a branch pipe in which a posistor is placed, the outputs of which are connected to the first and fifth inputs of the control device, to the third and eighth inputs of which an electric heater is connected. Control device has a switch connected by its input to the second input of the control device, and by its output to the third input of the control device and the first outputs of the windings of the first and second electromagnetic relays, the first and second signal lamps. First terminal of first closing contact of first electromagnetic relay, first output of second closing contact of second electromagnetic relay, first output of closing contact of button, the first output of the third normally closed contact of the second electromagnetic relay and the common output of the key are connected to the first input of the control device. Second output of the winding of the first electromagnetic relay is connected to the second output of the first closing contact of the first electromagnetic relay and the sixth input of the control device. Connection point of the second output of the first closing contact of the second electromagnetic relay and the second output of the closing contact of the button are connected through the second NC contact of the first electromagnetic relay to the fourth input of the control device, the fifth input of which and the control output of the key are connected to each other through the second closing contact of the second electromagnetic relay. Output of the key is connected to the eighth input of the control device. Second output of the winding of the second electromagnetic relay is connected to the seventh input of the control device through the third normally closed contact with a time delay at opening of the first electromagnetic relay. Second outputs of the first and second signal lamps are respectively connected to the first outputs of the fourth normally closed contact and the fifth normally closed contact of the first electromagnetic relay, which second outputs are connected to the second output of the third normally closed contact of the second electromagnetic relay.
EFFECT: higher operating performances of electric wax melter.
