FIELD: transport engineering; towing of crawler vehicles. SUBSTANCE: towed crawler vehicle 1 is coupled with truck-tractor by towing ropes through towing hooks 2. Each towing hook has spring-loaded switch which can supply signal from current source to brake electromagnets on one of vehicle sides if working rope at this side gets slack. EFFECT: increased mean towing speed of unsteerable crawler vehicle owing to provision of braking of towed vehicle tracks at cornering and moving down the slope. 4 cl, 4 dwg
