FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to improvement of components of a grid of a false ceiling and, in particular, to end connectors of the main guides or tees of such systems. Connector for a guide in a false ceiling comprises an end lug which can extend in a longitudinal direction beyond the limits of the guide, and a receptacle for the end lug. End lug has a front end, and the receiving socket faces backwards from the end lug, at the same time, the end lug has a main part with flat sections of the main part backwards from the front end, besides, the material of the flat sections of the main part determines the plane. Socket has proportions that allow receiving the front end of the identical connector, wherein the socket has a wall lying on the side of the plane of the main part sections, wherein the end lug has a locking protruding element protruding towards the end lug, and has a backward-facing locking edge, wherein the seat has a recess and an open area adjacent to the recess for receiving an end eye, including a front end, of an identical connector, wherein the recess has a vertical height, the size of which enables to receive the end eye of the identical connector without interference in the vertical direction, as a result of which, when the end eye is received into the recess, the end eye rests completely against the recess, wherein the open area includes a backward-facing edge for mutual fixation with the locking edge of the protrusion of the identical connector, wherein the recess is located in front of the backward-facing edge. Version of the connector is also described.

EFFECT: connector for a guide in a false ceiling has an improved tensile strength achieved by accurately determining the proportions of the end eye and the receiving recess, so that full abutment in the transverse direction between these elements is achieved to ensure full engagement between the edges of the locking protruding element and the mating locking edges.
