SUBSTANCE: can face cover comprises disc from sheet material with top and bottom surfaces and peripheral wall surrounding disc top side to extend from top side wherein tear-off zone with tear-off section is formed. Tear-off section is defined by tear-off line. Open lug comprises clamping and gripping parts and is secured on rivet by connection tab adjoining said clamping part, in cutout of open lug between said clamping and gripping parts. Extruded sealing ledge extends down and is arranged in gripping part bottom side. Said ledge comprises sealing bead extending along outer peripheral outline of sealing ledge so that, with open lug in opening position, it is possible to depress clamping part to tear off tear-off section from cover disc to produce opening to be tightly closed again. Circular wall extends around tear-off zone with height and inclination relative to cover disc top side that makes it surround and define bottom whereon tear-off section and tear-off lines are made. Circular wall has inner surface with contour located between rivet and cover disc peripheral wall. Tear-off line closed contour is smaller than that of circular wall inner surface perimetre to compose inner flange-like edge. Shape of sealing bead outer perimetre corresponds to that of circular wall inner perimetre not corresponding to edge defining the opening. Sealing bead outer edges get in contact with circular wall inner surface when sealing edge is recessed in gripping part sealing position.

EFFECT: efficient sealing in reuse.
