FIELD: manufacturing technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for the production of pellets, which includes grinding plant material, moistening, molding, cooling and packaging, in which the vegetal raw materials used are wine-making industry wastes—peel, seeds, grape stalks, wherein the raw material is ground to particle size of 1.0–1.3 mm, milled raw material is moistened to moisture content of 8–12%, and molding is carried out by forcing crushed raw material with moisture content of 8–12% through a matrix at pressure of 92–110 MPa and temperature of 250–300°C and subsequent cutting into granules of a cylindrical shape.
EFFECT: invention provides the development of a method for producing pellets from vegetable wastes, in particular, wine-making wastes, providing reduction of environmental load and improvement of consumer properties of pellets.
