FIELD: various technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing wood-flavoured granules (pellets) made from grapevine, which can be used in the fuel industry, food industry for imparting flavour to food during preparation. Method for production of pellets, including washing of vegetal raw materials, milling, drying, moulding, cooling and packaging, characterized by the fact that the vegetal raw materials used are wine industry wastes, namely grape vine, wherein raw material is ground to particle size of 3.5-4.0 mm, dried to moisture content in ground material of 10-12%, moulding is carried out by forcing through a matrix at pressure of 110-120 MPa and temperature of 250-300 °C and subsequent cutting into cylindrical granules.

EFFECT: method described above enables to expand the range of pellet production methods and enables to obtain a product having an environmental advantage and improved consumer properties, as well as to recycle wastes of wine-making industry enterprises, thereby reducing risks of environmental pollution with industrial wastes.
