FIELD: rocket and space engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aerospace engineering, particularly, to mechanisms and assemblies for holding in folded transport position of transformable systems. Locking device for fixation of transformable elements of spacecraft structure comprises a strong non-destructible housing when triggered with assemblies of attachment to elements of spacecraft structure and with four internal cylindrical cavities. In one of the cavities there is a working piston with a conical retainer. A locking mechanism is arranged in the second cavity perpendicular to the cavity with the working piston and the channel connected to it. It includes a piston with a stop and a rod pressed by a coiled spring. In the third cavity of the housing there is an initiator-electric detonator and an energy sensor-charge of a high-blasting explosive. In the fourth cavity there is a pneumatic valve for supply of a metered portion of compressed air from the ground pneumatic system with the possibility of being replaced by an electric detonator and an explosive charge.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of the device, expanding its functionality, reducing energy costs.
