SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method and a system for intelligent support of fighter pilots in long-range air combat with a pair of enemy fighter aircrafts. For intelligent support of fighter pilots performing exchange of certain information in flight as part of a pair, calculating in a certain way possible situations of defence or attack at various possible configurations of the number and position of own fighter aircrafts and enemy fighter aircrafts and developing possible recommendations and options for protection or attack. System comprises an incoming information processing unit, long-range air combat configuration units (2×2, 2×1, 1×2, 1×1), a unit for preparing information for an information control field.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of use of fighter aircrafts based on timely issuance of recommendations to pilots in the entire spectrum of emerging substitutions.
