SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly, to aircraft equipment, and can be used for intellectual support of fighter group commander in escort of striking forces. Method provides issuing recommendations to the commander of a group of fighters in the subsituations "Correction of the formation of the EF", "Reflection of the attack", "Return of the selected group", clarifying the situational situation based on the use of the UAV, determining the composition of the group target, predicting the outcome of air combat and correcting recommendations for the group commander on the number of fighters allocated. System for intelligent support of the commander of a group of fighters for tracking striking forces includes a system for preparing a priori information, standard on-board digital computers, on-board measuring systems; cockpit control information field control part, situational situation assessment system; air combat efficiency prediction unit, on-board operational advising expert system, information processing unit, a unit for activating problem substitutions, a unit of domain fragments, problem subsituations unit, information part of information-control field of crew cabin, objective control system and combination of connections between system elements.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of performing a combat mission by a group of fighters escorting strike forces during flight.
