SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiology, and more specifically relates to a method of treating cardiovascular disease. That is followed by a drug therapy corresponding to the patient’s diagnosis, and additionally, a pathogenetic therapy is carried out by administering bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells grown in a nutrient medium. Stem cells are introduced into the patient intravenously or intramyocardially at a time in a dose of at least 200 × 106 mesenchymal stem cells, wherein grown mesenchymal stem cells used are mesenchymal stem cells obtained from donor bone marrow.

EFFECT: method enables to provide regeneration and restoration of damaged myocardial tissues in a short time, due to an optimally selected dose, to form a non-coarse cicatrix and improve the contractile function of the heart, exclude the traumatic effect on the patient, since autologous cells are used.
