FIELD: processing of cellulose-containing wastes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to processing of cellulose-containing wastes – laminated cardboard “Tetrapak” consisting of cardboard base with polymer polyethylene film applied on it. Method involves treatment of the prepared raw material with an aqueous solution of chlorine dioxide at its boiling point and ensuring separation of the polymer substance from the surface of the laminated cardboard sheets. Aqueous solution of chlorine dioxide with its content of 0.5–1.5 g/l is used at its boiling point. Consumption of chlorine dioxide solution is 1–50 kg/kg of raw material. Duration of treatment is from 10 minutes to 2.5 hours. Spent chlorine dioxide solution after cooling and separation of the solid polymer is reused in the process of producing chlorine dioxide.
EFFECT: reduced content of polymer substances of non-cellulose nature in the obtained cellulose mass to not more than 1%.
