FIELD: measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of carbon dioxide (CO2) disposal in geological underground formations, namely to methods for assessing the effect of CO2 on disposal facilities, and can be used in selection and/or design of facilities for underground arrangement of CO2 for the purpose of its long-term storage. Method for estimating the effect of CO2 on disposal facilities includes analysis of the core of the primary injection reservoir, including petrophysical studies, geomechanical studies, filtration studies; injection of carbon dioxide into the core of the primary injection tank and analysis of the core of the primary injection tank after injection of carbon dioxide, including petrophysical studies, geomechanical studies, filtration studies; primary seal core analysis, including petrophysical investigations, geomechanical investigations, determination of inlet capillary pressure; estimation of parameters of arrangement of CO2; assessment of CO2 propagation dynamics in the location object; assessment of reliability of arrangement of CO2 in a facility.
EFFECT: improving efficiency and accuracy of estimating the effect of CO2 on disposal facilities before pumping.
